Steins Peak on New Mexico/Arizona border

I know I am posting a lot of Mountain pictures but they are very inspiring to me. This mountain and the town was named after an Army Captain Stein. The town was once a thriving railroad station town. There is so much history, I can't take it all in.

  1. Dave, you can post as many pictures as you like of mountains. I love them! I'll really love it when they come with snow.

  2. I might mention that it (or should I say lack of) is one of the reasons I would never live in the midwest......no mountains = boring!

  4. I love the pictures of the mountains, too. When we went to Vegas I remember remarking at how cool they looked in the background. Dennis and I went hiking in Red Rock Canyon just west of Las Vegas when we traveled out there in 2001. Oh yeah....it was a while ago!!
