Fallen Redwood in Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park


This Redwood had fallen over Howland Hill Road that cuts through Jedediah Smith Redwoods Park. Park officials decided to cut the tree this way to allow access through the Park.

    Wow....quite a bit different from the hustle-bustle, eh?

    BTW, does the Prius automatically switch to battery when you are below a certain mph?

    This is a beautiful picture. It has to feel like you are worlds away from everyone. Sometimes....ok, many times.....that is a nice feeling!!
